Kim Greene Hughes, Esq. the founder of K. G. Hughes & Associates, LLC , leads with purpose, passion, and a legacy of empowered excellence. With more than 25 years of experience in Real Estate Closings (both Residential and Commercial), Wills and Trusts, and Business Law. Kim not only brings legal knowledge but clarity and confidence to every client she serves.
Before founding her own firm nearly 20 years ago, she served as an associate, managing attorney, and law firm partner, building a reputation grounded in professionalism, and powerful results.
Kim’s mission goes beyond legal transactions — it’s about helping individuals and families build lasting legacies. Whether guiding first-time homebuyers through closings, or helping families protect generational wealth through wills and trusts, her approach is personal, transparent, and rooted in community.

A Leader Who Serves With Purpose
A member of the Real Property Law and Business Law sections , Kim is also a state-registered mediator for General Civil , Business/Corporate matters, and Special Assistant to the Attorney General for Georgia DCA’s Low income Housing Tax Credit commercial projects. Kim actively serves on the boards of Focused Community Strategies, the Empire Board of Realtists, and the Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, reflecting her deep commitment to expanding affordable housing, sustainable homeownership, and women’s economic empowerment.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Juris Doctorate from The American University Washington College of Law in
Washington, D.C..
